(PRWEB) March 7, 2004 --Love Bomb Productions Presents

Judy Garland and Uninvited Company

Kate Botello is uncannily good as Garland, singing the songs beautifully while at the same time subtly kidding her subject -- all the strange mannerisms of the older Judy are exploited expertly.

The Cabarusical, Cast and Music

Judy Garland and Uninvited Company, the cabarusical - one part uproarious cabaret, one part stirring (albeit slightly campy) musical -- brings to life an inspired and compassionately re-created Judy Garland (Kate Botello) as she rests at her house in the country. That is, she would be resting, if her assistant Joe (Joe Levesque) could get her to sit still. He's under orders from Sid Luft - no pills, no booze, no fun.
Of course, Judy doesn't actually get any rest. Instead, a dashing Gene Kelly (Benji Randall) and a swingin' Ella Fitzgerald (Sade Pendarvis) arrive bringing a basket full of musical mayhem, all wrapped in delicious, jazz musical arrangements.

Judy Garland and Uninvited Company features a wide variety of original musical arrangements from the innovative jazz stylings of musical director and pianist Stephen Bocchino, including a rapid-fire rendition of Cloudburst, a wistful Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most, and knockout version of the spiritual, Operator.
